Line Control Design & Programming

Process Control Integration

CLE provides process control solutions for our clients in the areas of filling, mixing, batch processing, cooking, cooling and paper converting. 

Our first step is to understand the process control parameters and develop the Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) that provide the basis for the control system. From this CLE develops a control system solution that meets all required functionality and is also operator and operations friendly.

Integration of Vendor Supplied Equipment

To maximize the performance of any production line, all machines in the manufacturing process must work together as a single system.

Because the specific process and packaging needs of each of our clients are so diverse, the best manufacturing, packaging and materials handling solutions most often requires the use of equipment supplied by several different machine vendors.

CLE brings experience in process and packaging design together with our knowledge of OEM equipment and control systems to provide seamless integration of vendor equipment into the overall control strategy.

Operator Interface Programming

CLE is an integrator for many large operator interface software providers such as Wonderware,  Intelusion and RS View. CLE can also provide web based solutions that reduce the cost of software licensing and allows anyone within your organization direct access to real time production information.

Because the operator interface is the window into the operation and control of the manufacturing and packaging process, our engineers are not only highly skilled programmers but are also trained in the ergonomics and development of a well designed and easy to use operator interface.  A well designed operator interface can provide great benefits in productivity.

Vision Systems

Today vision inspection and control systems make possible and affordable controls solutions that have previously been looked at in terms of "what if" or "if we could only afford to".

These solutions have been made possible because of the many advancements in cameras, lighting and data processing technology in recent years. As the vision technology has moved forward and become more widely used the cost of the hardware and software has dropped sharply making affordable many new vision applications.

CLE has worked with our clients to develop complete vision solutions such as an ink jet character code recognition, label inspection, material sorting and many other custom inspection applications.

Plant Control Network Design

CLE leverages it's experience in controls network design to help our clients select the control network architecture that best matches their unique needs and provides flexibility for growth in plant floor automation and data acquisition.

We also work with our customers to integrate new or existing plant floor control systems with downtime tracking and monitoring, OEE and SCADA systems to achieve a fully integrated production environment.

CLE has experience with most major plant floor networks such as  Ethernet, Control Net, Device Net, DH+, DH 485, MB+, ASI Bus and other field bus networks. With this experience we are able to provide several options to achieve your automation and networking objectives.
